2008 Renaissance Festival

This fall, the ol' nuclear family made the trip down to the Renaissance Festival again. It's always an interesting time (lots of weird, yummy food and great people watching). It was a unique opportunity to have the five of us together again. Very reminiscent of those family vacations growing up that you don't quite appreciate until they stop (driving at breakneck speed around Lake Superior, traveling to Florida with the three kids sitting on our hands as punishment for fighting in the backseat, running into Grand Rapidians at Mount Rushmore...). It was very fun - we always have a good time together!
