Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend was action-packed - and we were only in Rochester for less than 24 hours! We were able to go to Michael's last concert of the season, featuring Monroe Crossing (a MN bluegrass band). It was absolutely amazing - who knew that you could combine choral and bluegrass?

It was also Mother's Day weekend, which we got to celebrate with Karma, Laurence, Mari Lee and the Cullotons. We then traveled back to Grand Rapids to celebrate with my mom, dad, Dan and Kristina! It was so great to spend some time together (but unfortunately my photos from that didn't turn out. Apparently, I need to work on my tripod skills). It's always so special when everyone is able to get together! We have great moms in our families. :)

Eleanor and Michael regaled us with several excellent nursery rhyme renditions...

.... which went over well with the crowd...

... and this was Miriam throughout it all. :)

Lots of fun this weekend--we look pretty worn out but we really weren't! Baby Miriam was wonderful and Eleanor was a dear. Daddy has her concert skills well honed. Love to all . . . Karma & Laurence
